We toasted the end of another great summer with Deep Eddy on Labor Day! I had never heard of it, but I was intrigued by the label design when my friend pulled it out of his freezer. These vodkas are distilled from corn and the flavored varieties contain nothing but premium juices, essential oils, natural sweeteners and local honey. The Ruby Red is my favorite so far – refreshing and not too sweet.
This brand is well developed and I love the retro style label and website, pin-up girls included, which gives the brand its classic Americana feel. Often stock bottles are used in an effort to save money, but I appreciate that Deep Eddy uses custom details, with their name and location embossed onto the shoulder of the bottles. There is also the perfect amount of differentiation between the label colors so that the consumers won’t get confused between flavors.
